We recognize the significance of equity and inclusion and believe that employers must uphold their legal duty to create workplaces that are free of discrimination. We are dedicated to stewarding guidance and compliance counseling to ensure that companies fulfill their employment law duties.
At the height of this country’s long-awaited discussion on ending systematic discrimination, employers must prioritize eradicating disparate treatment in the workplace. When employers fail to uphold their legal duties in providing a workplace free of discrimination, which results in the violation of an employee’s Civil Rights, we are here to litigate on behalf of victims of workplace discrimination.
MEET SHANITA ASANTE
Shanita Asante is a native Washingtonian and a 2016 graduate of Howard University School of Law. Shanita began her legal career in the Federal Government, as an Equal Employment Specialist, where she routinely managed over one hundred Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) complaints. As a certified mediator, Shanita has significant experience mediating workplace conflicts, negotiating wage disputes, and investigating Civil Rights violations.
Shanita maintained a 92% mediation resolution rate, resulting in increased workplace morale and productivity. Shanita also worked on resolving a high-profile Federal Government matter that gained national media attention. Shanita’s legal analysis and investigation into the high-profile matter, resulted in agency-wide resolution, disciplinary action for the violating party, and equitable remedies for the aggrieved party.
